What makes us special

We combine tradition and innovation with sustainability: for example, we rely on regional products from the Southern Black Forest Nature Park, use renewable energies and operate a sophisticated environmental management system.   3. Get to know our hotel 🏡 - We will show you our hotel and the departments of your apprenticeship
  4. Taster internship 👨‍🍳👩‍💼 - 5 days to get a taste of it and try it out
  5. Test yourself 🤔 - Find out if the apprenticeship at the 4*S hotel is right for you
  6. Start together 🚀 - After a successful internship, we discuss the start of training

Course of the training

📚 Your apprenticeship at the Seehotel Wiesler

  • Duration & development ⏳ - The apprenticeship lasts 3 years. In the first year you will learn the basics and simple tasks, later you will be given more responsibility depending on your skills.
  • Dual system 🔄 - You not only learn at our hotel, but also spend several weeks a year at vocational school. School time & practical phases alternate regularly.
  • Vocational school & lessons 🏫 - In the first year, lessons take place in Titisee-Neustadt, where all trainees learn the basics together. In the second and third year, you will go to the vocational school in Villingen-Schwenningen (approx. 30 minutes away), where you will be trained specifically for your profession.
  • Examinations ✍️ - Part 1 of the final examination takes place at the end of the second year. At the end of the apprenticeship , the final exam part 2 follows, usually with a written and practical part.
  • Your future 🚀 - We have taken on many of our trainees after they graduate - maybe you are the next one? 😊

Accommodation options during the apprenticeship

🏡 Living during the apprenticeship

Our two staff houses are located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel - short distances guaranteed! 🚶‍♂️ The rooms were completely renovated in 2020 and have modern furnishings: Bed, mattress, plenty of storage space, private bathroom with shower and, of course, WiFi 😉 Here you can feel at home and relax after an exciting day at work.

Leisure activities alongside your training

🌿 Leisure & life at Lake Titisee

There's plenty to discover around Titisee! In summer, our own staff lakeside bathing area invites you to cool off during your lunch break - perfect for enjoying the sun and nature. ☀️🏊 After work, you can use our fitness room or burn off energy by hiking, jogging or mountain biking.

In winter, the Feldberg ski resort is just 20 minutes away - ideal for anyone who loves the snow. 🎿❄️ Or do you prefer a stroll? You can reach the old town of Freiburg in just 40 minutes by train, which runs every 20 minutes. Shopping, cafés, bars and clubs await you there for your leisure time.

After your apprenticeship , you have many opportunities with us: We take on committed apprentices directly into a permanent position with an attractive starting salary - whether in service, reception, housekeeping or in the kitchen.

Those who want to experience even more can gain experience abroad and later return to the Seehotel Wiesler. For all those who aspire to a career in hotel management, we also offer the opportunity to grow as a management assistant trainee and gain deeper insights into the processes of a 4*S hotel.
