Do you enjoy cooking in your free time or have a keen interest in food? Then an apprenticeship as a chef is just the thing for you. Our kitchen team will be happy to take you on and show you how to cut vegetables quickly and evenly, how to prepare dishes creatively and how to fillet meat and fish professionally.

During your apprenticeship, you will work in various positions in the kitchen. Starting with the gardemanger (also known as the cold kitchen), where salads and starters are prepared, to the patisserie where cakes and desserts are made, to the entremetier and saucier. These two positions cook the hot dishes on the hob and are therefore responsible for all the main courses in the kitchen.

Regardless of the position – all dishes are freshly prepared in our kitchen and no convenience products are used. We use over 256 regional and over 60 organic products. Would you like to learn how we conjure up delicious, fresh and regional dishes?

You prepare meals and ensure the good reputation of our regional cuisine
You check the quality and freshness of delivered goods
You ensure that our food is stored properly
You comply with hygiene regulations
You advise and look after guests

Your profile

Training as a chef (m/f/d) in our lakeside restaurant

You have a good secondary school leaving certificate (applicants with Abitur or Fachhochschulreife can shorten the apprenticeship )
You have a good command of written and spoken German
You love food and have a good sense of taste and smell
You are resilient and can make decisions quickly
You have a high level of hygiene awareness
